FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How many grips come in a set?
Every Geoleap iron/wood set includes 13 grips — enough to re-grip a full bag in one session. ROLL putter grips are sold individually.
What's the difference between the Classic Edition and the Pro Kit?
Classic Edition = 13 grips + 15 double-sided tape strips. Pro Kit = 13 grips + 15 tapes + grip solvent + hook blade + vise clamp + towel — everything you need to re-grip at home.
What sizes do Geoleap grips come in?
Three sizes, all 10.60 in long: Standard (1.1 in diameter, 55 ± 2 g), Midsize (1.18 in, 68 ± 2 g) and Jumbo (1.26 in, 85 ± 2 g).
Which grip size should I choose?
Match grip size to hand length, measured from the wrist crease to the tip of the middle finger: 6.6–7.5 in = Standard, 7.6–9 in = Midsize, over 9 in = Jumbo. By glove size: Men's M = Standard, L–XL = Midsize, XXL+ = Jumbo. See the Grip Finder for the full chart.
What's the difference between corded and rubber golf grips?
Corded grips (STORM series) weave cotton cord into the surface for traction in rain, humidity and sweat. Soft-rubber grips (FEEL-R, FEEL-T, FEEL-M) and TPE grips (FEEL-ACX) trade some wet-weather bite for a softer, tackier feel.
Which Geoleap grip is best for sweaty hands or rain?
The STORM Hybrid. Its cotton-cord upper section is rated High for moisture control, and the Cross-X textured lower half keeps tack without abrading your glove.
Are these the same grips sold on Amazon?
Yes — the same tour-grade grips from our own factory. Buying direct here skips the marketplace markup.
Is re-gripping hard to do myself?
No. Plan on about ten minutes per club with basic tools. Our Re-grip Guide has a full video walkthrough and six photo steps.
What tools do I need to re-grip at home?
A hook blade or utility knife, 2 in double-sided grip tape, grip solvent, a marker, a towel and a tray. The Pro Kit bundles all of them with your 13 grips.
Can I use mineral spirits instead of grip solvent?
Yes. Mineral spirits activates double-sided grip tape the same way as dedicated grip solvent.
How long after re-gripping before I can play?
Let freshly installed grips cure for about 2 hours before swinging.
How long does it take to re-grip a full bag?
About ten minutes per club, so a 13-club bag fits comfortably in an afternoon including cure time.
How often should golf grips be replaced?
A fresh grip typically lasts a full season or more. Replace when the texture glazes over, feels slick, or loses feedback in wet conditions.
What putter grip shapes does Geoleap make?
Three ROLL-series profiles: Paddle (flat front for a square stroke), Round (classic barrel) and Pistol (rear taper, square-face feel) — all with a non-slip, all-weather PU surface.
Where are Geoleap grips made?
In our own factory, which has been making golf grips since 2005. The Geoleap brand launched in 2018 — same molds, same compounds, same line, now under our own name.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $60. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and you get tracking by email.
What is your return policy?
Unused grips can be returned within 30 days for a refund. Grips that have been installed on a club can't be returned, so check your size first.
Do Geoleap grips have alignment aids?
Yes. The STORM RIB has a raised back-rib that registers hand placement, and the FEEL-ACX carries a Bold X mid-zone marker for visual alignment.
Where do I register my grips?
At the Register Your Grips page — it takes about a minute and gives you quick access to install tutorials and after-sale support.
Which grip should I start with if I'm not sure?
Start with the STORM Hybrid in Midsize if your glove size is L or XL — it's our flagship all-weather set. Prefer a softer, tackier feel? Go FEEL-R.
