Pistol — the flared heel fills the pad of your top hand and sets the wrist at a consistent angle; the tapered lower section keeps your fingers reading the stroke. The traditional tour shape. For a top wrist that breaks down under pressure.

Paddle — a wide flat front gives both thumbs an obvious home pointing down the shaft. For straight-back-straight-through strokes and anyone who wants the most repeatable setup.

Round — a classic barrel that gets out of your hands' way. Maximum feel, least mechanical help. For a natural arc and quiet hands, with four thicknesses if you want to quiet them further.

Does a thicker putter grip help the yips? It quiets small-muscle twitch mechanically; it does not treat the cause. Many players get real relief on short putts.
